This is the compatibility guide endorsed by the Sound Canvas User's Group (SCUG). If you want to share your creations with other Sound Canvas owners, this guide will show you the only way to make your sequences truly compatible with all other models of the Sound Canvas. |

| This zip file contains several instrument definitions. At least one for all models, from the SC-55 to the SC-8850. The definition files can be used in any Cakewalk product requiring instrument definitions including Overture and SONAR. The condensed version of the definition is especially optimized for the patch browser used by Cakewalk versions 8 and 9 as well as SONAR. All related instrument names contain the same name and spelling. Both a condensed and uncondensed version are included. The condensed version includes only one instance of every sound that exists on more than 1 map. Also, map 0 is not used so the definition is fully compatible with the SCUG compatibility guidelines. |
